We are delighted to welcome you to “La sentinelle du Vallespir”, Bed and Breakfast, spa, sauna.
We would be delighted to talk to you about the wonderful region we live in.
Don’t hesitate to ask us, we’ll do our best to advise you on visits, discoveries, cultural or sporting activities in our area.
Rules and regulations may seem restrictive, but they are necessary if everyone is to enjoy their stay to the full.
As a preamble, we would like to remind you that our house is located in a region where the risk of fire is high.
We urge you to be vigilant, as prevention is everyone’s business.
The property is generally non-smoking, with the exception of dedicated smoking areas clearly marked as such.
Cigarette butts and matches may not be disposed of anywhere other than in the water ashtrays provided.
In order to welcome you in the best conditions, we ensure your reception between 4pm and 8pm.
Late arrivals must be agreed in advance by e-mail or telephone.
On the last day of your stay, departures must be no later than 11am.
Breakfast is served under the bio-climatic pergola on the garden level between 8am and 10am. On request, they can be served a little earlier if you’re going on an excursion.
We take great care to prepare a balanced, full breakfast using local, seasonal and organic produce whenever possible. In addition to a common “base”: hot and cold drinks, pastries, bread, butter, honeys and jams, each evening we ask you to select from our list of savory or sweet dishes, to guarantee optimum freshness and limit waste.
A dinner consisting of a starter, main course and dessert, accompanied by your choice of local wine (for adults), can be booked 24 hours in advance. Dinner and drinks are payable on site.
Times: dinner is served between 7pm and 8:30pm.
The kitchen is not available to guests.
La Sentinelle du Vallespir is designed to allow you to take full advantage of the wonderful light, the peace and quiet and nature.
You have access to the large lounge overlooking the Pyrenees and the Canigou at any time of day to read or rest (or even work!), as long as it’s quiet and noise-free, especially between 10pm and 8am.
Books are available in the various libraries (bedrooms, hallway, lounge). Various board games can also be loaned on request.
There are also many outdoor areas where you can relax and unwind:
The west-facing terrace on the ground floor has sofas (accessible from 7am to 11pm), subject to compliance with noise regulations.
It also features a clearly identified smoking area accessible 24 hours a day.
The south-facing Pool Terrace, with deckchairs and views of the Pyrenees and the Alberes (open from 9am to 11pm, subject to discretion).
The house and garden are connected to Wifi via fiber.
We remind you that illegal downloading is forbidden, and that access to sites that are criminally reprehensible is liable to prosecution.
We ask our guests to dress decently at all times and to wear shoes when using the common areas.
Equipment :
Hygiene requirements for Spa and Sauna use :
Wear a bathing suit, shower before use, do not apply sunscreen before use.
Free access to the SPA from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. in 30-minute sessions, which can be booked privately with Marie.
Access to the sauna is possible from 10am to 10pm under the same conditions.
The sauna is an Infrared sauna which, like all saunas, implies the absence of medical contraindications.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have no contraindications, and we cannot be held responsible for any accidents.
If we invite you to use the pool: diving, eating and drinking are prohibited.
To help everyone relax, please refrain from shouting or heckling in or near the pool.
The rooms
Non-smoking rooms each feature a kettle, Nespresso coffee maker and HD screen.
We’re counting on you to keep the volume down after 10pm.
We provide housekeeping services and change sheets and towels each time you check in.
For longer stays, we offer at least an intermediate cleaning after 3 nights to guarantee you maximum privacy.
Customers undertake to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of their stay, to declare and pay for any damage for which they may be responsible, and to report any technical malfunction.
We have our own micro-purification plant, so it’s important not to flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.
A set of keys (room/balcony/gate remote control) will be given to you on arrival; in the event of loss, you will be charged 60 euros plus VAT.
For reasons of privacy, please do not walk along balconies.

Each room has a free parking space on the property.
Remote surveillance, Security :
The property is equipped with remote surveillance cameras for both exterior and interior common areas.

However, as the property is not guarded, we advise you not to leave any valuables in your vehicle or your room during your absence; we decline all responsibility in the event of theft or accident occurring on the property.
Electric vehicle charging
An electric vehicle charging point is available (not included in the price of the overnight stay, invoiced on site on an hourly basis).

We are sensitive to nature and to the future of our planet, and wish to contribute to the protection of the environment by minimizing the footprint of our facilities.
Our household products and foodstuffs are usually organic and/or sourced from a short, unprocessed circuit.
